MW3- My own worst enemy

It has occurred to me that I'm rubbish at modern warfare 3 tonight. The truth is I have never been great at shooters but always loved them. If your on PSN my see ID is thom-forever add me and check my stats I really am the worst player ever.

I've realised this has come for 2 reasons. 1) I always play with music on and 2) I just like blowing shit up. I play it as a kind of stress relieving exercise so sneaking and picking my shot isn't my style, all about grenade launchers and jumping off balconies into groups of the other team and wildly spraying bullets.

Proof is I went to the gym after work on Thursday, ran and lifted my aggression after a long boring day of number crunching. Came home and due to sleeping people had no music on and my kill to death ratio jumped. I was on fire, racked up 27 kills in one game! I am getting to know the maps a lot better now, and am sure with time I will improve hopefully but anyway I'm basically my own worst enemy on that game.

I've also played a bit of Fifa, have to say that once you get defending its a great version. All about holding midfielders and 3 up front though, but looks and plays amazing. Some times I watch real games and really drift into a Fifa zone. Like a bit of Blackpool too, my love of them from my FM12 game has also moved into Fifa, but whats not to love they are all out attack. Shame about that blue nose Phillips they have upfront, does love a tidy finish on Fifa though.

Making the press #UFlive

So I have made a headline:

Great article here from DIY gamer and for some reason I got a mention. Although I can't take credit for answering the questions this article is well worth a read:

New Beginnings #UFLive

So as I write this my last FML blog will drop off of the from page of my window. Sad times, but about time.

I set this blog up to talk about a game which was a mega part of my life but we are moving forwards now. To be fair it will now consist a lot of me talking about the PS3, the development of UFL (which there are some older posts about below) and general day to day stuff. I must plug UFL again if you haven't go check it out HERE.

How good if Modern Warfare 3 by the way? Loving that and Fifa at the moment! Its the best FM for a long time too, Blackpool are romping it mid table in the Prem currently.

I may even blog a little about the day to day which will be me rambling on about how I can't wait for the weekend and then rambling about my hangovers of a weekend. I must say that this will in no way be as cutting detailed or serious about UFL as anything I write on their site, so if your here looking for a sneak preview you may be disappointed.

However, I am terrible at keeping secrets so you may not.

I've had a pretty crazy last 8 months since FML went bust and this blog went quiet, break ups, driving tests (finally) and several pretty cool holidays to Dublin, Amsterdam, London, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Manchester. I may do a bit of a nightlife review too as I try and piece together the last few months.

Anyway short and sweet for a change but welcome back to the Los Elephants blog with the Lost Elephant title. Like a Lost Elephant I've been stumbling around smashing up the place. That in itself must be worth following this for.
